(no subject)
Well...it's been a while I know. I'm not even going to try and explain why I haven't updated because to be honest I just don't feel like it. I'm tired right now, but I guess you probably couldn't tell that lol.
This week has been so weird. We had band practice and I started off happy becase I had agreed to become a band leader. Boy...never ever jump into a decision like that without analyzing every aspect of the job. I swear it was a nightmare. Cody wouldn't listen to me, Our drummer didn't show up so jeff had to play drums, and because Jeff was on the drums he couldn't play guitar.
Anyway to make a long story short after band practice I knew right away that I didn't want to be a band leader. Not because I'm not ready for the resonsibility, but #1 The men in the group are not ready to follow a woman's instructions and #2 I just don't feel like it's the right time for me to be taking a step in that direction.
I'm not mad about it or anything in fact after I talked to Jeff about it last night I feel a lot better about my decision. He is always so supportive of me and I'm just really glad that I have both him and Sheri as friends. OH! And their new baby Jonathan is such a sweetie. I can't wait to see him tuesday.
Speaking of babies. My Aunt Lawanda is going to be having a baby in August. I swear (I know I've said this before) There's always someone in my life that's having a baby. Anyway I'm going to go read a book and get ready for bed.
