Competition Cheerleading

I have decided that Competition Cheerleading is probably one of the most complex and unpredictable sports, because in every other sport there is an offense, a defense, there is strategy, an objective to the game, and there are a set amount of points.
-Baseball: 3 strikes you're out!
-Soccer: goal = 1 point!
-Football: touchdown = 6 points!
-Basketball: basket = 2 points!
-homerun
-hat trick
-pads, shin guards, helmets, cleats

But yet when it comes to cheerleading, it consists of pleasing a set of judges for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and each routine has a different final score depending on scores of 1-10 in the categories of:
-tumbling
-difficulty of stunts and pyramids
-crowd involvement
-creativeness
-energy
Yet to some we're just considered girls in skirts with big ribbons dancing to music!

So yea, our Regional Cheer Competition was this weekend, and in our region 8-AAAA, the top 4 out of 10 teams went to state.
But yet, we were not expecting who the judges chose for top 4 on Saturday.
Everybody brought their best, and we all had nervous glitches, but at the end of the day, Heritage, Salem, or Eastside were not in the top 4 like many expected.
It was considered a long day that we had been working towards since August.
But Loganville did great, and I hope that they win at state for our region!!

You should watch our performance and see what I mean..
