sunshine days

it's been like summer here the last few days.

yesterday, some very nice person paid for my bus fare.

i feel on the verge of a crucial turning point (in the best of ways)...

It's light out in the morning when I wake up and still kind of light out when I leave work. I love it. Of course, I wish it was warmer, but Chicago winter serves a purpose. I think it makes us appreciate spring/summer/fall even more.

true. although, i've noticed this year that while we do not get all the snow, ice, and subzero temps (thank god) we do get *less* sun, if you believe that. it's so dark and gloomy here for so long that it sometimes feels worse to me than chicago winter... i can't tell you how welcome the sun is!

i'm loving it - seriously. its beautiful. one of the best parts is the sunlight that comes into our bathroom at the awful hour that I wake up. it makes getting up and ready so much better. we need to get outside this weekend to soak up some sun!

yes! that and that it's still light when i leave work - love it. i can't wait for daylight savings on the 9th!

maybe we should picnic on the lake on saturday or sunday...
