random phone conversations
so i'm at work and i answered the phone. the phone call started off normally enough, but it took a turn for the weird rapidly.
random lady: my husband got a gift certificate for christmas. is there a experation date?
me: if there's no date then it doesnt expire.
random lady: ok! i have another question..
me: all right what is it?
random lady: if he dies who gets them?
me: uhhh...lemme ask.
me: *covers the phone* um lori what happens if someone dies? *busts out laughing*
lori (supervisor): *blank look* i dont know...
me back on phone: we dont know call back tomorrow when the manager is in.
random lady: oh that was such a weird question! i cant believe i asked it!
both of us busted out laughing.
random lady: i'm going to be embarassed to come in and use these now!
me: well at least you wont have to wonder.
