Top 5 musical acts you would travel more than a hundred miles to see.

  3. Madonna
  4. The original Guns & Roses
  5. Kiss

Take Me Back Tuesday - Week 134
Are there any bands that you like now that you didn't like when you first heard them?
I *hated* both Tool and Soundgarden when I first heard them....now they're (still) two of my favorites.

What bands that don't record anymore do you miss the most?
Soundgarden....

Did you ever buy an album by an artist you didn't necessarily like but because everyone else had a copy, you had to as well. If so, what was it?
Why would I waste my money like that? I can find plenty of other crap to spend it on......
Friday Five for 03-August 2007

  1. If you were a fruit, which would you be and why? Hmmm....do I want to be desired or not? I'm gonna go with Durian - as I value my longevity and people might tend to stay away from me this way. ;) ... its odor is best described as pig-shit, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock. It can be smelled from yards away. Despite its great local popularity, the raw fruit is forbidden from some establishments such as hotels, subways and airports, including public transportation in Southeast Asia.
  2. If you wake up and smell smoke, and you have to get everybody (pets included) out of the house safely, but you have time to grab one item, what would you grab? My laptop
  3. If you were stuck on an island, who would be the one person you would want with you and why? My ex-boyfriend, John, because he would have a good attitude, might be able to get us off of there, and if we were indeed stuck, he'd be able to make it fun.
  4. If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be? I wouldn't have Eric Heiden thighs.
  5. If you could spend the day with one famous person, dead or alive, who would you choose? If the question was to meet or have a discussion with, I'd say Charles Manson. Since it's not, I'm going to go with Salvadore Dali - that's got to be an interesting day.

Friday Fiver for 8/3 - A dragon lives forever but not so little boys

  1. What is your local lake/river/sea? Snake, Salmon and Payette Rivers....Cascade Lake, Lake Lowell....Lucky Peak
  2. Do you believe in dragons and unicorns? I would like to....I'd also like to believe in faeries.
  3. What is your favorite fruit? Berries, cherries, nectarines, pineapple
  4. Do you smoke? No'm - there is no way I could do derby then....allergies are bad enough, smoking would make it impossible. Besides, I think they smell and taste horrible.
  5. Friday fill-in: Together they would _____ . ...discover new and fascinating worlds.

Friday's Feast - One Hundred and Fifty Four

  • Appetizer - On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how polite are you? - I'd give myself a seven or eight....I'm not always polite, but I try to make an effort.
  • Soup - What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud? - THIS
  • Salad - Who is your favorite cartoon character? - Betty Boop
  • Main Course - Tell about the funniest teacher you ever had. - Hmmmm. I would say Mrs. Johnson, not because she was funny, per se, but as a sub, we put her through all sorts of hell and she was always a good sport.
  • Dessert - Complete this sentence: I strongly believe that ______________________. Humans should have the same right to elective suicide as they due euthanizing animals.
