"JENNA IT'S HAN! NOT JUAN!"
Well, the gang and I finally spiced things up a little bit last night. Gah, it was so great.
My parents were gone away in Philadelphia yesterday so I had to stay home with Hayley and was pretty bored all day. Kayla came over at like 4 yesterday. She got hit in the face at basketball (poor thing) and her lip was swollen so it was harder for her to eat. We had Subway & Ramen haha, it was pretty amusing watching the attempt. Around 7:30, Kayla, Marissa, Tanisha, Rachel and I, all went over to PPM in the middle of a tornado watch haha. First, we went into Borders and there was this HUGE crowd there. We had no idea what was going on. Then suddenly we realized that there was a signing by some guy named "Glenn Beck" that night so we waited around for him. Apparently this was a huge deal. People were pushing and we just stood on the opposite side of the room from the line. Out of nowhere, these three guys moved right past us, Glenn Beck being one of them. I guess he's important, I just googled him. It says he's a conservative but it was still cool to see this guy who means so much to all these people. I got a few pictures. After the Glenn thing We did the normal looking at clothes we ain't buyin' and we had shakes and fries at Johnny Rockets. We got to sit at the actual counter for once. Then at 9:30, we waited outside for Marge to come pick us up. There were these 3 boys in Borders sitting at the window so Kayla and I sat on the opposite side of them outside and kept banging on the window. I started yelling things at them and then their mother came out of nowhere and took them away haha it was hysterical. Then, the real fun started. Three boys (two white kids and an asian kid) stepped out of Borders. I had the idea to have Marissa go tell the asian kid that Rachel liked him. Rachel freaked out and she and Tanisha walked away really fast down the street. So we decided we'd give him her number. Kayla, Marissa and I walked over to the three guys and started talking to them about Rachel. The two white kids were pretty cute and they go to Hendricken. The asian goes to East Greenwich high, where they all live. Their names were Mike, Tom and Han, and they were all taller than us even though they're sophomores. We gave Mike (the cutest in my and Kayla's opinion) Rachel's number lololol. But I guess he was going to give it to Tom (Marissa's favorite) and Han after. After they left, we got T and Rachel and got in Marge's car telling Rachel that we actually did her a favor and that they were really nice.
Back at Marissa's, we searched forever for Mike's facebook. Suddenly, HE TEXTED RACHEL. He wasn't with Tom and Han because he got into a fight with Tom's mom recently. So he called all of us and we talked to him for hours. He's seriously such a great guy, but seems like he lacks confidence. He's preppy but enjoys good music. He said that, when asked who he thought was the cutest that "we were all pretty and he'd be happy to have anyone of us". I told him that I already had a boyfriend who is awesome though :) and he said "Well I'm glad. I hope things are working out for you. Jealous, but I'm happy for you". I thought that was so sweet. He also told me that he was interested in seeing some of my artwork because it's important to me and friends appreciate that kind of stuff. Really one of the nicest kids I've ever met. Tom and Han called us too but they weren't as easy to talk to as Mike, who we talked to until like 2:30 AM. I did a lot of the conversation because people tell me I'm good at that but I really tried to talk Kayla up haha. That'd be cute :D He wants to be a doctor and she wants to be a nurse awww. Tom wanted me to drive everyone over to his place in EG at 2 in the morning because I have my license. Uh... lol. Nope! Anyway, we were all really excited to have made some decent new friends. Mike said that he was excited that we were even talking to him because he doesn't think of himself as that great. Ok well he went to the Jack's Mannequin concert and told us that he loved their lyrics. He's OK with us.
So I guess we're hanging out with them soon? I really want Kayla to hop on Mike! That'd be cute :D
I'm glad Marissa, Kayla and I worked up the courage to talk to them. Mike said they were going to come over and talk to us but were too nervous and thought we were out of their league. We were just like "Well this is all news to us." I mean, out of their league? Us? Haha not at all. New friends though! :)
