(no subject)
It's Sundayyyy. And it's actually sunny here. Crazy. It feels like it's been raining for the last year.
Yesterday was friendship anniversary with Shiloh. Yayyy. Everyone should have friendship anniversaries. You get to take a whole day every month to be grateful for having such a great friend. It's fun :) I guess it doesn't really work with people you've been friends with most of your life, but since we've only been friends for two years (as of next month haha) it works for us.
So anyway. Thursday was my mom's birthday. Yayyyy happy birthday Motherrrrr :) I wish I could've come home for it but I had this crazy class thing goin on...
I stayed up almost all night Thursday night/Friday morning writing my stupid Tolstoy paper. It is without a doubt the worst paper I have ever written. Dead serious. But it's okay because it's done with and it was only a draft anyway and I have two weeks to make it presentable. Blah. I went to bed around 6 A.M. Friday morning. Good stuff. I hope I never have to pull an all-nighter again. Even though it was a fake all-nighter because I did get to sleep a little. But yeah. I fully embrace my procrastination, but that was a little much. That was like unhealthy. Not really feelin all that.
Anyway. Friday was chilllll. Didn't do too much of anything. Took care of Shiloh Friday night, hahah that was fun. Plus I got the added entertainment of Josh's drunk dialing. Love it.
And Saturday (yesterday), like I said was friendship anniversary. We walked to Trabant in the rain to pick up a bus schedule, then got a bus to the Christiana Mall. We shopped a little and ate lunch at Houlihan's, which was really really good, then shopped some more. I didn't buy anything of course, because I'm brokeeeee, but Shiloh got some sunglasses that she's now obsessed with. And hair color. She got that too. Then we barely made it back to the bus to come back here, got back here, and walked back to Shiloh's dorm in the rain. We dropped our stuff then went down to the ATM to get money for the Calliope concert, but the ATM was out of service and we missed the bus to The Bob where the concert was. So we literally RAN in the downpour all the way to the next bus stop, got there right before the bus left, and took it to the concert. Walked across the huge parking lot in more rain only to find that Shiloh's concert passes that are supposed to let her in free since she's a music major were no good. So I had to charge the tickets (30 bucks) to my card and now I really am broke. Haha. But it's okay, because Shiloh has to go to a bunch of these concerts for one of her classes so I'm just helping her learn. I of course didn't have to be there but it was a pretty good concert so it's all gooood. Then we took a bus back to her dorm and craaaashed.
So now I'm chilling. I dyed Shiloh's hair. Ahhh. I've never dyed my own hair, and I dyed her's. Crazyness. She just got back from washing it out so we get to wait for it to dry and then see how dark it is. Exciting. Haha.
I'm eventually going to do homework. Whenever we go back to my dorm. I really need to catch up on all my reading. I'm so behind. But the only major thing due this week is my Utopia reading log, so at least there's that. Plus I come home Thursday night! Contain your excitement, please. It'll be fun though, I'll probably drop into Bennett on Friday to say hi, and I'm going to the Homecoming game and Delmarvacade on Saturday. Good stuff. Plus I get to see familia and driiiiiive again. And eat good food. Yum. I'm looking forward to it.
