So i made it through a whole week of graduate school before dropping out (technically a leave of absence, but i seriously doubt i'll be going back). and now i am looking for a job.
the good news: i am no longer tens of thousands of dollars in debt.
the bad news: i am qualified for NOTHING. everyone wants people with experience, but how are you supposed to get experience if no one will hire you?? so i am sending out my resume anyway, hoping for the best, and i'm giving it one more week before i go sign up with a temp agency.
i miss my friends, i didn't really get a chance to get to know anybody before i dropped out and i was so anxiety-filled anyway i doubt i made very good impressions on anyone. then again, should i want to make friends now anyway? i am in grad student housing for the moment and will probably be moving somewhere north of the loop after i get a job (lots safer, closer to home).
here are the job areas i am looking in:
writing/editing
market research
if you have any other ideas that are NOT working at burger king, let me know.
