New, old.
I changed my layout!!! I had no idea how people were making such pretty things happen. I guess, technically, I still have no idea how people are doing these things. But I also just don't feel like I care.
Changing my layout reminds me of when I used to make my own website. On expresspage.com. That is so weird, thinking about that. Then when my biggest dream was to be hosted and have my own blog. I got up to frames and dabbled a little bit into CSS, but that's about it. Man. Time flies. I also specifically remember all those list things that were popular.. "50 things to do in a WalMart".. "25 Things to Do to During Detention", and I used to CRACK the HELL UP. Outloud. The truest of LOL's (I think even before I started using 'LOL'). My entire "tween" era seems like a weird and very surreal blur.
Like.. I would go hang out in chat rooms on AOL. SO WEIRD. Sorry for the trip down memory lane, but I am having a FLOOD of flashbacks. Then, my parents swtiched from AOL to MSN, and I was genuinely nervous to use the actual INTERNET outside of my AOL comfort zone. Wow wow wow wow. AOL. MSN. Then in MSN I would frequent chat rooms.. had some major BFF's that I would meet up in chatrooms. It's all so lame/1997.
Things sure were different then....
Speaking of all of this, I recently went to a site I always loved called Kiwibox.com. It's, apparently, an online magazine for teens. I signed up probably around age 12. Well, I went to it JUST the other night, to see if it was still up and running.. and it WAS! And... my login still worked!
I felt really creepy with my profile that said I was 22.
Memories are cool.
Ever just want to go back in time and relive a day or two at a different age, with the knowledge you have now?
Of course, I think everyone does... I think the most important thing.. the biggest difference, is the insane amount of confidence I have in comparison with when I was younger. Specifically, 12-16 years old.
Hopefully, if I ever get to go back and relive a day or two, it will be a day when I happen to have Spanish class... I would kick assssssssss!
Also, hopefully it is a day in which I have time to take a shower. I would blow everyone away with my style! That's for sure.
