End of Year Writing RoundUp 2009

Dec 30, 2009 13:48

Today's the 30th, but I don't expect to post any stories this afternoon or tomorrow.

Stargate: Atlantis

The official mission reports aren’t always detailed. A Word

... it was a joke that SG:A1 always scheduled off-world trips for the afternoon of Fresh Meat day. Lorne didn’t ask how Zelenka or Garcia handled Science and Facilities, but for himself, he had a list. Bullet points were easy.
Orientation

Teamfic for an extended definition of team. Rodney liked to be in on the ground floor, in the inner circle, in the know. Circle

Crossovers

Jack Sparrow on Atlantis and Elizabeth Swann Turner on Serenity -- (Elizabeth Swann and Zoe Washbourne for the Home Team short fic contest)

Four times Parker Met Bela Talbot and Once She Didn’t Belladonna Leaves (Leverage and Supernatural)

The Winchesters on Amazing Race and Dancing with the Stars 291 words, post Changing Channels.

The HermioneBigBang, which for us was a NCIS/HP crossover with a special guest appearance from R. Sharpe and P. Harper: Stranger Things. I'm glad we did the BigBang. I'm not sure that we need to do it again. That's a lot of words.

NCIS
Tony and Tim and movies. 110 words.

Leverage
Marshmallow Fluff (154 words) and Doughnuts. I do so love to watch Eliot wield a knife. And a wee something written between seasons: This is not the Rope Job: Three Reasons why Hardison Doesn’t Do Bondage

Star Trek (ToS or Reboot - I honestly tried to leave it open.) no overt pairings, no warnings. The way they walk around one another. Five Times Bones didn’t Raise his Voice.

War for the Oaks Which I meant to do for Yuletide and screwed up. Shoes of Velvet Green Dan and Carla get touched by events, too.

I’m not counting the one I did for Yuletide madness, since it doesn’t get tagged with my name until the 1st. I’ll come back here and link to it after then, though. Unless I forget. Edited: Well, eventually remembered is almost the same as "didn't forget".
Castle Lonely were the Shepherds Kate and Martha and Alexis and Rick. And a glass of wine and a chair and the Christmas tree blinking in the background.

And not really stories, just a group of kiss ficlets:

Non-fannish for a prompt of Eddie Van Halen and Phil Collins
Eighties

Non-fannish (but totally fictional, as I do not in any way pretend to actually know Zachary Quinto or Dita Von Teese

Non-fannish, though I do know these people, so let’s call this hopeful future-fic. A Catt in the rain

Fannish, dueSouth and Monacoverse
untitled Phydeaux and Deifenbacher kiss

Which lead to a request for a 'dieffenbachia and philodendron' kiss.
Non-fannish - Opposites Attract

---:::---

Similar round up posts for 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, and 2004. Also on Skyehawke and, as discussed last week, I’m heaving stuff gradually onto the Archive of Our Own. How do prolific writers do it? Unless I’m screwing up the import function somehow, it won’t take Skyehawke stuff. Though I did eventually figure out that it would auto correct the gobbledegook that ellipses become in the importing. I didn’t realize how often I used them until I was correcting them by hand on the first half stories.

writing, fiction
