Fic: Five Times Bones Didn't Raise His Voice

florahart requested prompts. So I contributed and in doing so, I bunnied myself.

Five times Bones Didn't Raise His Voice
No real pairings, no real warnings, beta by the ever-patient beadslut who snapped a whip and reminded me that a short fic was weakened by extraneous stuff. All remaining mistakes I claim as my own.

Hee! Spare bunnies! This is a good side effect, right?

Do you intend for this to read as more TOS or AOS? I didn't have an intent to read one way or the other, but wound up picturing TOS.

Bunnies for everyone. More fic can only be a good thing, right?

Bead busted me on that, too. I was deliberately trying to keep it open for either way, though the fact that we don't see Christine Chapel in the Reboot probably tips it toward TOS. Though Walt Koenig never did seem as fragile as Anton Whatshisname does. (I was always a Sulu girl, so it was hard for me not to resent Chekov's screen time in TOS. In Reboot, they are either better balanced or I just don't care as much.)

But I suspect I'm a little out of step with fandom as a whole. I'd rather look at (or fantasize about) Chris Pine than Shatner (times a million) and as much as I liked DeForest Kelley, I'm shallow enough to visualize fanfic with Karl Urban instead, but Spock is, was, and shall be Nimoy.

It's funny you mention that, because even though I knew it was Reboot, The last felt like TOS to me, as well, or at least could go either way.

I'm with J_T, Spock is Nimoy, not Quinto.
