- Booklet Bible Man
ive come to notice that there are a lot of strange people that come into licks.
there are MANY characters that come in from day to day, but i think you grow to love them.
there is this one couple...
there is this elderly couple that come in regularyly. the husband comes in pushing his wife in a wheel chair. the lady has one leg, and always looks very tired. the husband, so sweet.
he comes in, and politely orders, and smiles, while looking directly into your eyes. when i hand him the change, he holds out his little brown change envelope. i dump the change in, and he smiles again, and whispers, "thank you." he then reaches into his pocket, where i can see paper packets hanging out, and pulls one out and gives it to me. he says, "this is a special message for you. its for you!" and smiles. its a little white booklet, with a yellow outline, and on it it's written, "a very important message." i have probably received at least 10 of these books. and every time i act so excited and grateful. i give him a huge smile, and thank him.... every time. i dont think he realize i have started a collection i have so many.
but i still appreciate his thought, heart, and motive.
he is such a sweetheart. i just watch him, the way he hands out the booklets to everyone, the way he cares for his wife. its so adorable. such a good man =)
tonight at work, alisha told me that i may have an interview at a call centre with her and jenn. so she looked up the number for me last night, and then she told me to call. she was there with me when i called. the lady on the phone knew that alisha had already called, and she just told me to come in with my friends on monday!!! =) alisha and i got so excited lol. we both want office jobs, and are gonna go in with jenn on monday. im very excited!!! i hope everything goes well....
we shall see.
WORK, as much as i want to curse half of the customers, i loooooove off my people.
travis came in from the bbq, and yells "JENNNNNNA!!!!" and comes over and gives me a hug. Brian comes over to me and rubs his nasty greasy dirty hands on the back of my shirt!!! hahaha jerk face! pat stood there and laughed!!! lol LOSERS!!!
wes came in to get his sister megan. he goes, "so i here you're hanging out with my sister megan! um when was the last time you asked ME to hang out? yeah thanks, a LITTLE JERKISH!!!" i just laughed, "wes, please, you know i love you!!!"
then brian came over again, travis goes, "WOOOAHH buddy, jenna's off limits! leave her alone, or im gonna have to kill you! (turns to me) i got you jenna, i got you!" =D i love my travis <3
travis goes to wait for his ride, gives me a hug, and blows me a kiss hahaa =) travis, "bye love!" me, "bye love!"
cole comes in, "jenna! come here you!!!" bear hugs me lol. me, "cole i cant breathe!!!" haha. cole says, "see ya saturday night, we are working together! bye budd!"
ian just makes me laugh, so funny. andrew (aka fix-it) kept hitting me, and then i kicked him in the knee lol. then we played bloody knuckles.... it hurt.
katie and i were imitating daniel hahaha, it was hilarious!!
kivann and i finished at the same time tonight, kivann, "jenna lets go now before they ask us to do anything else!!!!" we both run for the door haha.
