Nev I know how you feel!
I to paid a visit to the dentist today, mostly due to a threat I received last night that I wasn't willing to test. As I have said previously half my tooth vanished at the beginning of this week and today I went to the dentist to book and appointment, as I walked through the door my dentist who I haven't visited in over three years seen me and asked me what was I doing here, the phrase durrrrrrrr sprung to mind.
I explained about the whole half a tooth thing and she said that she was just about to go on her break but seem as though I might disappear again for three years she would just take a quick look so automatically fight or flight senses kicked in and out I went like a light in the chair. She brought me round and was wetting herself laughing this is quite unnerving when your sat in a room with someone who has ouchy tools at their disposal. She explained that she was just laughing at my neck (don't ask long story). But anyway she said that looking at it there was three options
1. Take tooth out completely
2. Do some root canal something or other to rebuild the tooth
3. Just fill it for now and see how I go
We both decided third option would be better due to the circumstances and past events so now I have a half filled tooth whihc they did with no injections as they refuse to give me them again due to past events so am no slightly groggy from the whole fainitng expedition and in pain. But was brave!!! For once!
In other news RBS decided to call me as I got home with my swollen mouth to tell me that the girl who I was replacing has decided to retract her resignation so they are putting me in edgeley I dunno where that is lol. Never mind!hehe
