so i decided that tonight i would be productive and try to figure out my class schedule for the fall...6 hours later and i'm in the same place that i started in. no i didn't go do something else. i really did try to figure out my schedule, but it's not working ( Read more... )

why are you so worried about if you're going to have room for extra classes or an extra minor or something? this isn't high school...you can take classes as long as you need to. why not take an extra semester, or even an extra year to achieve what you really want? not to mention you have the whole rest of your life to work and be in the 'real world'...what's a few more months in college?

i realize what you're saying and where you're coming from, but for me, a few more months in college is a lot, especially since i plan on going onto dental school and possibly even orthodontic school after that. so it would be nice to get done w/ school as quickly as possible considering i have a lot more of it ahead of me. but i will remember to breath, take in the whole college experience, and smell the roses. thanks for your advice i really appreciate it.

I agree with Crystal. Just breathe. Enjoy your last few years of "freedom" from the 'real-world'. once you hit high velocity out of college, there is no turning back. So enjoy the schooling while you have it. There is no rush to get out, or at least there shouldn't be. Take your time. Take summer courses, or an extra semester or something. It's all gonna work out in the end. Just don't stress out about it so much. haha....

Are you coming 'home' this summer, since your parents are still here, as of now?

i'll try to remember that. it will all work out in the end. if it doesn't than it's not the end.
i am coming "home" for a visit this summer once my classes are done. my last final is on may 20th. then i'm coming to freeland for awhile (i'm staying at cystal zimmerman's house, since i'm practically there all the time when i come home anyway. i figured it'd be easier that way.) till i have to be in Rapid City, my new home, for my job which starts on June 1st.
but really the only place that really feels like home to me anymore is college as crazy as that seems.
hopefully we can hang out when i come "home".
