Status Check
The Good...
- Margaritas w/orchids floating in them.
- After much prompting I caved, and tried Pinkberry. Which I madly adore.
- Walking group. Even if I have to get up at the crack of dawn.
- TOMATERS!!! I am seriously proud to have grown stuff.Yeah, whatever Jen grew a baby. I grew tons of Tomatoes. And people loved them.
- Getting even more money from China. Because clearly I rock!
- Petting Zoo! At Festival Hermosa.
- Made it through Sunset Junction alive.(Will never do this show again! and this time I mean it!!!) Ben Harper played, which was pretty darn cool.
- My near daily afternoon flings with my new bud Finn. I do most of the talking, he does most of the drinking.
- Pacific is having to hire three people to replace me... That's right 3 of them!!HA.
- Heros on DVD... Was very good. Hiro is my favorite, I pretty sure he was everyone's favorite. Anybody wanna go on the "borrow it" list?
- Still having birthday lunches, one last week and one more next week.
- After 6 previous attempts, I managed to successfully remove my closet doors.
- I have soooooo much freaking tea. (yes from China)
- Apple trip posted on MYPC. You all know you wanna go...
The Bad...
- Still waking up most nights at three a.m. grr. My newest plan involves going to bed at 3am, which works pretty well. However it does seem like a temporary solution.
- As of today, my kiln is being held up in Mexico due to a labor dispute.(I can't make this stuff up) It is however now in the shipping crate. Maybe it leaves tomorrow, I doubt it. I am pretty sure they told me when it was ordered it would take three weeks. I can't seem to remember all that clearly since I ordered it in JUNE. Thinking positive, praying that it comes in next week.
- Hand moving three crates of glass, many boxes of glass, and various supplies one car load at a time.
- My damn feet grew a half a size. WTF. I am too old for this. Good news for Jen T. her feet grew due to the pregnant thing, so now she gets all my cute shoes.
The Ugly...
The biggest ugliest craziest green insect thing munching his way through one of my tomato plants. There are photos. Completely freaked me out.
