So Derrick told me about Tom Waits coming to town next month, so I put a reminder in my calendar for 10am today, when tickets went on sale.
I had a meeting at 10, but figured that I wouldn't have any problems getting tix after the meeting was over.

As of 11am, when I went online to get tickets, they were entirely sold out.

Nashville isn't on sale yet. It's only a 10hr drive... flights, however, are $206/person according to travelocit. Amtrak doesn't go anywhere near Nashville. Orbitz has several car/flight/hotel deals for $332/person.

Ooh, Nashville is kind of cool. Have you ever been? I was there once for about two hours but I liked it.

We'd fly down, I think... did some pricing and it'd be around $800 for the trip.
