Very tired, so this will be short.

Busy, busy week. Sunday was callbacks for "Gypsy"- I got into the chorus, which is fine, since I sounded so bad at callbacks. Wednesday I worked for the jail, and came to the strange conclusion that now that I have overcome my initial digust, I actually greatly enjoy wound care. (Add burn nursing to the list of possible careers.)

Today I went to the classroom session of the motorcycle class Chris got for me. Boring, but useful. Tomorrow Dagny and I will watch Soylent Green (it's people! It's peeeeooopppllleee!!!) and Saturday and Sunday are hands-on motorcycle class stuff. Sunday, after class, is rehearsal for "Gypsy" which I may not be able to make, but I warned them in advance.

Saw "Three Extremes", the movie from 3 Asian horror directors. Loved the first one- "Dumplings". Very grotesque, but also thematically interesting, well-acted, and very unusual, with a good sense of humor. The second, "Cut", I didn't like so much, although I read theories that it was not actually two people against each other but one with a split personality, and looking back on it that makes sense... but I still didn't like it too much. "Box" was also explained after the fact (I'm too literal) and it was well-done. I felt bad for the lead actress though- all she got to do was whimper or cry in fear, with a few straight-faced scenes cut in.

It's not so bad being busy... it makes the time pass. March 15th I will start inquiring about shadowing nurses in April, in prep for my NEXT job... the people in the jail want me to work there, which is kind of funny... so many nurses left because they hate the administration, why would I step in? Granted, the nurses and charge nurses are just wonderful, but the higher-ups. Bleh.

Now to sleep, to prepare for tomorrow, my day of rest, sort of... go to work, come home, do yoga, have a friend over... relaxing!
