I went to the mall today. I figured that now that I have a real job and need to dress nice for my real job I'll go to the mall and get some real nice clothes. Have you been to the mall lately?? I was just flabergasted by the frikkin prices! Granted, I did go into some nice stores like The Limited, J Crew, Banana Republic, etc. But its just unbelievable that they can rape the common consumer by pricing their cotton blouses made in China for over 80 bucks. Have clothes always been this expensive?? I think I bought my winter coat last year for half that! Well, I finally decided to to to Old Navy where the cotton blouses made in India are cheaper. I finally decided on a blouse and ended up paying 30 bucks for it. Personally, I think 30 dollars is even to expensive for a shirt. I guess the only decent prices on clothes are the ones that are on end of the season super clearance. I think from now on I'll stick to my thrift stores.
