CNN reporter sets up the current scene in lebanon:
massive humanitarian problem, half a million of lebanon's 4 million are dsplaced. thousands injured, and over 300 dead.
and then she asks the question, " is there ever a point where the price to pay (for the destruction of hezbollah) is too high?
former israeli prime minister responds, you know i dont really like the people that use the body counts..bc then it becomes about who has lost more lives, but think about this- the nazis were without a doubt in the wrong, yet many german citizens were killed..
o yeah, real good, compare lebanon to the nazis...
and if thats not enuogh, bc its that easy to take away from the value of human life.
what hateful people these israelis must be... i mean simply hateful
and also, i would really like to hear a GOOD reason why so many christians support israel..bc we have already established that the promise to abraham has nothing to do with jews anymore...
is it now the lesser of two evils? hey we dont like muslims so lets go with israeli jews?... i dont mean that to sound rascist if it does-but i honestly want to know
& just for reference, a little less than half of lebanon's population is christian-- maronite catholics..
oh & the pope is also against what israel is doing...
dont get me wrong- take down hezbollah, but seriously...do it differently...you are freaking killing the lebanese people, & possibly causing more strife b/t teh muslims & christians there-sending back memories of their civil war..
there has to be a way to do this differently.. i mean everyone knows that if the US wanted to, it could do something..
but another CNN journalist said that israel knows it has the US's permission, but it is starting to feel a little pressure from the US bc so many lebanese has died... israel thinks itll get itleast another week...
o & did you know that during one of teh tours of beruit, a man from lebanon showed a journalist a damaged piece of construction equipment that israel mistook for a machine that could hezbollah was using to fire missiles... umm woops? makes you wonder how smart israel is... or really, just how hateful it must be.
needless to say, this is one american citizen AGAINST israel.
