rainy nights

I know I haven't been around much. I'm trying to do better. I've been reading bits here and there, but I feel like I will never be caught up. Forgive me if I've missed something. Just know that I am here, and I do read even though I don't comment much.

Last night, I had to make a run to the pharmacy to pick up the antibiotics the doctor gave us for sinus infections. As I got in the car, it began to rain softly. I had just missed getting sprinkled on. I turned on the car, pressed the power button on the radio, and Eddie Rabbitt sang "I Love a Rainy Night" to me. I couldn't help but smile. I love the song, I do love rainy nights since they are super good for snuggling, and it was just so appropriate for the moment.

After my brief stop at the pharmacy, I ran into the grocery store. This particular store has its own pre-recorded music selection that plays in a loop. As I searched for cereal, what should come on over the speaker than "I Love a Rainy Night." I laughed, then I sang along.

Is someone up there trying to tell me something? If so, what?

If not, then I am just happy that everything was in alignment.

rainy night, memories
