Fun Friday, just me and the kid
Mack and I had a good evening. We had dinner at Gringo's after I picked him up from day care and we made a last minute decision to see Invincible, that Vince Papali football flick starring Mark Wahlberg. I thought it was pretty good. The Rookie is my favorite feel-good based-on-a-true-story sports movie. Invincible ranked right up there in my opinion. The last movie like this Disney made, Glory Road, fell flat on its face. Disney has done a good job of making up for that one with Invincible.
(Also, Mark Wahlberg is ripped! I really enjoyed watching him run. Run, baby, run! Mama likes.)
After that, I took him to the store to buy a toy with the money he earned for good behavior this week. Now he's watching TV in the living room and I'm in my room watching Pinky & the Brain and writing this entry.
Earlier today I made another attempt to go to the weaving shop, and once again they have been closed during regular business hours. Since the owners live next door to the shop, I think I'll knock on their door tomorrow if they aren't open at a reasonable time. I need a shuttle!
Louie is laying on the back of the chair, leaning against my head and purring really loudly. Sounds like a Harley Davidson behind me. Happy happy! :o)
