A busy day, yet delightfully lazy!
I slept in today. It was nice. Then I got up, took the car in for an oil change, and Mack and I met Phil for a very late breakfast. It was so late I may as well call it lunch, but we had breakfast. At noon.
Then we went to the cat show. I've never been to one before, but I wanted to see a Devon Rex and talk to people that own them and get their general impressions. I fell in love with a Devon Rex kitten for sale. OMG, the cuteness! The only reason I didn't drop $650 on the precious little cream striped girl right then and there is that I was third on the list that wanted her. She was a doll, and quite a little love. Not to mention I could hold her in one hand, she was so tiny! I wish I had thought to take a picture of her to post. Oh well. If the first two buyers back off, baby girl is MINE!
Then we went back to Phil's apartment and I took a little nap. That's the only way I managed to still be awake at 10 p.m. on a Saturday night after running around the cat show all day. When I woke up two hours later, Phil, Mack and I went out for dinner.
Now I'm home, I'm full, I'm still tired, and I have a few new books to read that I picked up at the cat show. (Now if I can just figure out how to put them in the sidebar so you guys know what I'm reading... zarq? cottontimer? Can someone tell me how to set it up?)
I'll catch up on my friend's posts tomorrow sometime. I have some reading to do.
