has Zhoumi studied english? I've heard him speak it before, but I'm not sure if that's just super junior type english (i.e. "you are so gorgeous") or if he actually knows some.
oh, I didn't post it anywhere :p I was going to post it in this comment, but I just saved it on notepad and shortened my comment. but I'll post it at the end here just for you :)
also, you really should read 'the perks of being a wallflower'. it's a really good book, and it isn't very long.. you could probably finish it in a few days if you're dedicated.
OH, and if you didn't know already, i'm jadeofcourse off of sj-world. so what i posted in zhoumi's therad, i got rid of from these paragraphs, because it was very similar. it was just about how zhoumi's friendship is probably one of the most captivating things anyone could have in their lives :p
okay, here goes. READY FOR THE ULTIMATE TL;DR?
"why i love mimi" i hope you don't mind, but i suddenly feel like writing about zhoumi, because, well.. no one else will probably appreciate what i have to say about zhoumi as much as you. if i were to write this somewhere else, i'd probably get scolded for not writing about the 13. but, i've always wanted to get this out.
i really don't remember what it was about zhoumi that first attracted me to him. it could've been because i was sihan fan, and he looked like their lovechild. it could've been that he was easily over 6'0", and being 5'11", i've always been drawn to the taller members of groups. but i don't think either of those are completely right..
i became a diehard fan of super junior during the summer of 2008. i had been a passing fan before hand.. drifting in and out every few months, but never really paying attention. anyways, one of the first things i noticed that summer were these phrases: "only13", "forever15", and "13 + 2" type things. i wanted to know who these other 2 members were, and why i never saw them with super junior. ugh, i made the mistake of asking a korean elf :| she fed me lies about zhoumi, and how he was going to be joining super junior although he was talentless. luckily, i took everything she said with a grain of salt, and i went to go find out who these other two guys were. when i noticed one of them was henry, i was fine, because i remembered him from don't don and knew he was talented when it came to singing and playing the violin.
this other member, however, i knew nothing about. all i knew was that he wasn't being supported by korean elf, and back then, i thought that whatever the korean elf said, was truth. (>_>) so, with a minor-hatred for zhoumi, i started watching sj-m interviews because i really did like their songs.
and.. there was this interview. i don't even remember what it was called.. but i did save what he said. he was asked what he thought about the people who didn't like him and henry, and this is what he said..
Although we are the new members, and you don't know us very well, the only thing we can do right now is to show our best side, show our strength, or singing and dancing. To work our very hardest and show it to everyone, to let everyone accept us and like us. This is the only thing we can do right now.
and i thought... why don't people like him? i searched through interviews and performances for some sort of flaw that would be a dead giveaway as to why people wouldn't like this guy. and through this.. i learned so much about him.
he's such a strong person. although he is a sweet person towards others, in his heart, he has this sort of drive to push him forward to be the best he can be. he knows that people don't like him. and although he was tearing when he said that quote above, he refused to let what anyone said break him down. he never gave up, he never stopped trying.. stopped working, to get everyone's approval.
(continued) they say success is the best form of revenge, and zhoumi is a very good example of that. when people said he couldn't do it, he went above and beyond anyone's expectations. and though people said he wouldn't succeed as an artist, super junior - m went on to win popularity awards.
ugh, i can't even put it into words.. the sort of respect i feel for him. a lot of the members in super junior have gone through some sort of hardship, but, strangely, i respect zhoumi the most. it's weird.. what i feel for zhoumi.. i've never felt for anyone before. ah, i feel like a dumb teenager ;___; but, i don't know.. i don't understand it. i just respect him so much.
how he's changed my life, i can't even begin to describe. remembering all the things he's been through, and then how he's come out of them better off than before - it keeps me strong through tough times. he makes me want to be a better person. and i can't say that about other members of super junior (which makes me feel terrible, let. me. tell. you.).
okay, i'm done rambling for today :) this already a tl;dr x 4613218165138413513813 i'll probably post more some other time.. but not in your comments, haha. that would be annoying, hm? i'll just put them in my own lj or something and link you to it if you ever want to read.
