So, is it completely pathetic to get validation for your life from a guy who honks at you as you pass by? Color me pathetic.
It's always the same story: meet guy, connect with guy, like guy, find out guy has girlfriend (after an entire night of flirting and dancing during which he never mentioned said girl). Lab kinda sucks cuz things aren't working and I don't feel good about the work I'm doing anyways. Classes aren't good cuz I only understand them as far as ten minutes after class, then I'm lost again. I feel completely adrift with no anchor and nothing to give purpose to this meager and unsatisfying state of life.
At least I have dirty old men who think I'm cute.
