Randomness
So I had a business trip this week to Milwaukee. I sort of forgot to call anyone that I knew, so I made plans at random with a few people. I saw my old professor Kris. She is awesome. I think she is one of the most quality people I know and hope to always stay in touch with her. I then went and surprised Theresa which was a bunch of fun. She is the person whos wedding I am a brides maid for in October. She and Brian are doing great and I love their bar that they have now had open for about a year. It is an awesome place and they have done fantastic things with it.
Yesterday evening I went to La Perla with Hass - a sorority sister who is fantastic. First thing you have to understand about La Perla is that it is a place you go to DRINK - and their margaritas are good and come in pitchers - oh yes! pitchers. We had one and then went on to another bar (BBC). It was a lot of fun too, we just talked for a long time about life and it was good. One of the best parts of the evening was when Hass went to the bathroom and found a great bathroom quote that goes something like this...
If the ocean was vodka and I was a duck
I'd wim to the bottom and drink it all up
But the ocean's not vodka and I'm not a duck
So pass the vodka and shut the f*ck up...
hehe
Today we went to dinner again and had some sushi --> really good sushi too. We took her motorcycle to dinner which was way fun. It was the first time I had been on a motorcycle and I think I decided after tonight that next year some time I am probably going to trade my car out for a scooter - it will be great.
Tonight I read my friend Polichick's blog and she said some of the nicest things about our friendship. I also cherish her as a friend and wish some times that she would come back to the sunshine state :) She's awesome! And that's that!
Amanda is coming in town in a couple of weeks. We are planning our usual camping/hinking/hotspringing trip which I am totally looking forward to. I await the days for her to arrive.
Stephy - I can't wait for our brunch date :)
