I liked Holmes trying to keep a rein on his emotions, and the interaction between Holmes and Lestrade. Very good chapter!

Oooh, I loves Holmes POV. I'm thinking that wound will need more tending than he thinks, but YAY, Lestrade and plotting!

I'm really looking forward to more. Rescue!Holmes is my favorite Holmes.

Yes, Holmes is going to get himself into trouble by ignoring that wound, but he just can't be bothered to deal with it.

I'm very pleased that you're still enjoying the story - there's quite a bit more to come :)

Excellent, just excellent. A beautiful POV from Holmes, very much in character. The disdan at having to deal with a wound, the turmoil of fighting emotions.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the Holmes POV here - I think he's tricky to write, sometimes.
