So I go into work yesterday and I am on my way to clock in and one of my CSMs (Customer Service Managers) stops me and tells me that I need to learn service desk. I reply that I already know service desk. She gets this very excited look on her face and tells me that I need to take the CSM test as soon as I clock in then because they have a list of people that they want to be CSMs and I am on it. HOW FLIPPING AWESOME IS THAT! Can anyone actually see me as any sort of supervisor? Cause I can't, I am way younger than most of the people that work there. Still it's a pay increase and it would look good on a resume to say I was promoted to customer service manager within three and a half months. Seriously though it made my day and I had no one to tell because my mom was out of town, my gps weren't home, Em hasn't been picking up her damn phone and I didn't want to tell my friends at work. WILDNESS! As excited as I am though if I were to get it I would be responsible for a hell of a lot of money and I don't know how I feel about that. Especially considering that there is one CSM who consistently leaves her podium's drawer short and other people get nailed for it. it's weird but we'll see how it goes.
