Definitely. College is when you're finally free to make your own decisions and find out who you are and who you want to spend time with, or what you want to spend time doing. Academically, you can put in as little or as much effort as you want, and in what subjects you want because even though you're parents are (likely) footing the bill, they're also not able to dictate what "advanced" classes you need take to challenge yourself, and if they try there's an off button on the phone.

That said, college is different...so seemingly easier classes could turn out just as hard or harder than what you've faced before. Also, though the pressure for AP's certainly isn't fun, you get so many benefits for coming into college with credits, the best of which include getting out of worthless general education courses and improved registration times so you can get to the classes you actually want to take earlier. It may not be worth all the work it takes, but it is certainly a nice benefit.

I hope you're able to chill out and relax this weekend, take some pressure off...school's gotta be over soon, right? Just stick it out a while longer, and good luck on your AP's!

-I apologize for the anonymity, but I think it best.
