Celestial Seasonings, Sleepy Time Extra Tea
K. It is 3:15 AM. I'm awake. Dave is at a youth lock in which I did not attend because I've got a busy week and cannot afford to be sleepy. Well, I might as well be there! NoJo (my 2 1/2 year old Noelle Joy) was overtired and cranky from missing her nap today and going to bed late. She was fussy for 2 hours off and on, waking me from my sleep and then just cried for an hour! I don't know what was up, but I gave her a little tylonol and it seems to have helped. The thing is, she was throwing a temper tantrum and would not let me hold her or anything, so I got angry, put earplugs in and left her. What could I do?
Well after a 45 min. of that, and not really sleeping because I was so distraught about her, I went back in to her and she let me hold her. I rocked her a while, said I loved her and she said in a sad horse voice..."I love you too mommy" So sweet and muffled because of the arerow (Pacifier) in her mouth. She fell asleep pretty quick after that. Sigh...Oh how I wish I could be a perfect mom to her.
Now I'm awake, waiting for the Sleepy Time Extra tea to kick in. That stuff is magic! I hope I can get stuff done tomorrow.
We've got some really good friends from Florida coming to visit next week, (YIPEEE, Cartweels), I look forward to some refreshing time with them. Mmmmm :) I won't be posting much for a while because of that.
Finally finished sowing my veggie garden! just have to mulch some and put in a boarder. I got 2 Peony plants today! Such beautiful fluffy pink perfection! Thank you Creator for showing us your artistry and love for us in such extravagant ways. What a elegant gift flowers are!
