Sooo, today I was dropping off a co-worker at the light rail station. when I was going to turn left onto the next street, the guards were down... Okay, and then I realized that they were down for five minutes.... A guy was lifting the gate to help the cars through... great.. one lane outta three. So I do something almost anyoe wouldn't do. I turn around, park my car at the station... and proceeded to see all the cops around the light rail.. I continue walking towards traffic and REDIRECT it! :) Yep! For nearly 30 MINUTES! ^.^ I told who to go, and when to stop... And the cops didn't come over until the last 3 minutes of the whole thing to redirect the traffic. When they did, I still step out and start to continue redirecting traffic, because there are two lanes trying to go straight but now have to turn right... The cop guy was like, what're you doing?
Redirecting traffic, I say.
Oh, well it's opening up right now- mr. officer states.
Really? Great!! (my throat was sore from yelling, Go right! Go straight!!You can't make a left! there was an incident at the light rail!) and so I walked toward the sidewalk.
We just dont want you to get hit by a car- officer states some more. and so I smile and wait for the crosswalk to signal I can go... and then I go to my car and drive home.
Ah! That's soooo awesome! (to me anyway).... People were asking me what was happening, and I was like, I don't know. I'm just a pedestrian. or I would say, Im just redirecting traffic because I got stuck in it too.
People were soo thankful.. It was so cool. It felt so good to be doing something totally outta the oridinary and get rewarded with thanks from other commuters. ('Cause at least I had them moving.)

Weeeeee!
