2007?!
ok. so what the hell happened to 2006? did i pull a sleeping beauty and miss a whole year or did it seem like it went really fast to anyone else?
so the holidays were nice. it was really great to be back in chicago for a few days. i got to see a lot of people in a short amount of time, and that was great. julie officially asked us to be her bridesmaids, which we all knew was coming, but makes it all the more real that we are getting OLD. i got to spend some quality time catching up with everyone. matt-chew, your new place is awesome and i'm so happy that you have a wonderful job and you are doing so well. crystal and cheryl, thank you for making me giggle, and cheryl, your boy is Adorable. and jesy and i talked for hours as usual. it was nice to spend time with my family, just eating and hanging out. and of course it was wonderful to see M for the few hours we got to spend together. too short as always, but amazing nonetheless.
but now i'm back home. and working my tail off at work again. S was out from chicago to help us get back on track and get through the windows and new product launch. and lord knows we couldn't have done it without him. now he's gone and we're on our own again. it's busy and hard, but on the whole we're a happier group. and meesh is coming back in like a week and a half! then we'll basically have a full team, except for a manager. not too bad. :) i will be happy to see my check with overtime on it. i worked from 7am - 8pm on new year's eve. yes, that's right. happy freakin' new year! i was in bed, exhausted at like 9:30. and back at work early the next day. i guess it's ok. it gave me an excuse to not have fabulous plans and not spend any money. next year, my new years' date will be in the same state as me (the same apartment even!) so it will be better.
oh well, not much really exciting going on here. time to go drink tea and try to get rid of this terribly annoying cold that's been dragging me down for days. sniffle sniffle sneeze.
