we live in a beautiful world
i feel very lucky. for everything. good and bad, right or wrong. i must have done something good along the way because it brought me to really special moments with even more special people. it's the kind of moments that we make happen together, not ones we happen to be around for. right now i feel very lucky and here is just one reason why:
my friends see beauty where i do. i see beauty where they do. jaci says, "can we just not talk for the next minute?" and we get it. we all lie afloat on our backs, our ears tucked under the water. the jets are loud, but not loud enough to drown our thoughts. we look at the moon and don't want to look away- it was a beautiful moon. it always is. jenny and martin lie close together, jaci's feet at my head and i'm thinking there is nowhere i'd rather be, nothing else i'd rather be doing. sometimes it's more beautiful to not talk because i love what you think. i love that you want to look at the moon. i love that the moon looks at us, too. i just love and i think
