WHYYYY me. My ankle is STILL swollen and still hurts. the plus is that I can walk on it and after an xray on Thursday, it is DEFINITELY not broken. But I was hoping that after a week and a half the swelling and the pain would be completely done. But nope...still hurts, still swollen, still bruised. I've been doing my best to keep off of it, keep it elevated and icing 3 times a day....but of course with a busy 4 year old and an almost 5 month old puppy, staying off it is not the easiest task. I'm just ready for it to feel better.

For Valentines Day, since Richard worked...Teagan and I spent the day doing girly stuff. We did our nails, went and got her haircut. we took an inch off the ends, so no big change...Teagan made sure to tell the hairstylist that she "likes her long hair so please don't cut it all off", lol. She did awesome and all the stylists loved her (she is incredibly chatty)...Teagan just soaks up the attention. And then there is ME who avoids going to the hairstylist to get my own hair done because I HATE to talk....well...I dont hate to talk, I just hate small talk and I don't like chatting with strangers. How did I end up with one of the worlds most outgoing, loud and social 4 year olds? After she got her hair done we went to starbucks and then we stopped at the grocery store where Teagan insisted that we needed to buy daddy some flowers for Valentines Day. I couldn't tell her no:) So daddy got flowers for vday and he loved it, lol. He also came home with a couple bouquets of flowers for us, one for Teagan and one for me. So our house is full of flowers at the moment, lol. We didn't want to go anywhere so we cooked our own dinner of adobo and lumpia and both said that there is NO OTHER way we'd like to spend vday...we are such homebodies:)

This week Teagan is on break from school which also means she is on break from dance since the studio closes when the schools are closed. So my usually super busy little girl is going to have a somewhat slow week for once. I'm going to have to figure out some fun things for us to do since our schedule is so open this week. Gymnastics tomorrow. Maybe a trip to Playdate in seattle is in the works this week too...it's far now, but its so fun there and well worth the drive:)

And a little Iris update...she'll be 5 months old on the 19th! BEST. DOG. EVER. So freakin smart and listens amazingly well (seriously, we can tell her to "go downstairs" and she will get right up and walk down the steps and then sit there at the bottom of the steps...she's a PUPPY for crying out loud!). We are getting more and more confident with leaving her out of her kennel for short periods when we leave the house too. The longest she's been out while we were away is 3 hours and she did awesome...no potty accidents (no surprise there, she's been potty trained since practically a week after we first got her), nothing destroyed, no messes made...she just snuggles up right next to the door and waits till we get home. She's absolutely amazing. the only "issue" we are currently working on with her is her jumping up on us/people when we get home and she pulls REALLY hard on the leash when she walks...she walks ME. lol. It will all start clicking soon, I know it...I have full confidence in her:) "Who's a good girl!?!?! Iris is a good girl!!!!!"
