Moving day! And preschool update.
As of last weekend, we are officially living in puyallup again. We started moving in on Sunday and spent our first night at the house on Monday. Even tho the house is still in shambles and still has a lot of work to be done for it to feel like "home", it is good to be back in puyallup. We've had so many ridiculous issues with comcast thus far with getting our cable and internet hooked up (typical comcast and their super shitty service) so as of today we are STILL not completely connected (thank goodness for smart phones or this journal entry would not be happening). Normally being internet-less isn't a major issue for me but it so happens that I need it for work (I have sneak peaks to post and emails to send, etc). Dear Comcast...please get your stuff together.
Somewhere in the midst of the chaos of moving, we managed to take Teagan to see Santa...but I can't even share the adorable pics because NO INTERNET. Ugh!
Speaking of Teagan, we had parent teacher conferences at her school today! I finally got to hear about how she is doing. Academically she is right on track, she has great pencil control and she really enjoys the art activities. The teacher said she socializes extremely well and is one of the most outgoing and talkative kids in her class who LOVES to tell stories and loves to engage the other kids in games and pretend play. She said she does excellent during circle time activities and loves to play tag outside. She mentioned that she needs work on using scissors. At home we have the training scissors with the spring in them so she doesn't have to do much work so I guess its time to buy some spring-less scissors for home ;) Behavior wise, she said her biggest issue with Teagan in the beginning of the school year was with sharing but that she has seen a huge improvement lately and teagan is now one of the "better" sharers. (She also admitted that she tended to notice Teagan's sharing issues more just because of how loud Teagan is, lol. No surprise there!) I got a chance to see the alphabet book she's been working on too. So cute! Overall teagan is doing "excellent":)
Today the plan is to hopefully get comcast figured out, unpack more boxes and get my craft area figured out so I can work on a few more things for my mini sessions this weekend. So far, December has been nothing but chaos due to the move but I hope to be completely finished with moving and unpacking, realistically by Sunday so hopefully after Sunday I'll be able to relax a bit and maybe even start Christmas shopping. we might even manage to put up our Christmas tree tonight!
