(no subject)
Yesterday I:
1. Played chauffer with grandpa...we picked up his mail and bought some strawberries.
2. I then drove around town searching for a stuffed salmon that my cousin caught last year and sent to a taxidermist. What?
3. Elizabeth and I played Bingo at the Elk's Lodge for 3.5 hours. It was amazing. I got a piece of pizza for a dollar and solidified the notion that I get along with/have more fun with the elderly than anyone my own age. We were adopted by a seasoned veteran and now I think me and the nurse (Pat) will go every Tuesday night. Also...apparently our dobbers were hilarious because they were CVS brand.
I would like the world to know that this is what I am doing on a daily basis with my college degree. Let's hear it for a Michigan education.
I'm also still freaking out about what to do with my life...although finally having someone to talk to about it (Elizabeth) who totally understands me and has known me my entire life has helped out a lot. I've also discovered more character flaws that I wish I could fix easily. I found that I have some trust issues which bothers me and that I have more pent up anger in me than I realized (apparently this whole "talking to someone" thing brings out many emotions). I'm also not as patient dealing with my grandfather as I wish I could be and I really need to stop getting nervous around attractive people (odd combination, I know). But anyway...I bought a shirt at TJ Maxx and had Dunkin' Donuts coffee this morning so all is right in the world.
I miss you people in Michigan + the Kramers. I'll be in AA for 2 nights (March 15&16th) for a tour of the geology department and I want to see you all.
Ok I hear grandpa getting up from his nap. BYE!
PS-Some guy is getting his eyebrows done on the TV. This creeps me out.
