STARE AT MY PRETTY WINDOWS 7. STARE AT IT. ... I'm sorry, I just think Win 7 is so frikkin' shiny. I love it. =D;
I'm kind of a finicky person when it comes to my desktop. I like to change it a lot. So when I found out about Win 7's revolving wallpaper ability (cycles through pictures in a folder you set every few minutes. I had mine set for every 20 unless it was on the battery), ohgod I fell in love. Buuuut then I got a really full HD and poor Haku (yes, my computer's name is Haku) started to slow down horribly, so I got an external and unthinkingly transferred stuff over... while deleting the folder I was using from the main HD. D'oh. At the time it was Summer Wars, though in the past its been random Vocaloid and just the computer's namesake, Haku Yowane. Aaaanyway it caused the computer to go "wait, there's no more pictures here. You're going to be on the last picture I remember having!" It wasn't a BAD picture, but I really wasn't sure I wanted to stare at that particularly shot of Kazuma and King Kazma forever. But I was lazy and didn't want to sort through things to start it again.
Yes, my laziness can actually win out how horribly picky I am about wallpapers.
This is also more than 5 sentences . Oh well. Deal. I'm not done yet. xD
So long story short, I was poking around the Gundam Wing tag on Pixiv one night for icons for my Duo Maxwell account, and lo and behold THIS beauty shows up. It's now my been my wallpaper for a few weeks, because yum, GWing Boys. Not to mention this just made one AWESOME background. I love looking at it, and I'm so so tempted to cosplay from it sometime in the future.
Other than that... uh. I kinda feel bad Wufei's face is obscured, but larger icons just look better on this screen. I'm not very cluttered on the desktop level because Libraries make it so much easier to throw things in to places without having to dig through a million folders first. WIn 7 Widgets/Gadgets give me the nice pretty calendar/clock/weather bar. I recently downloaded Blender cause I was trying to see if I could mess with MikuMikuDance models, but apparently I fail forever at anything that's not in a 2D plane of existence even ON the computer... oh and Under a Steel Sky is a reaaaaally old game I just downloaded on a whim from a site called GOG. It's... weird but I might keep playing it just because I like those weird ass 1980's/90's computer games.
You just got a little slice of my life all from my desktop! If you didn't enjoy that, well.
