Lots of happy news for today...
Happiest of happy birthdays to my Grandma! She's 39 this year. And, she's a bit disappointed that I'm catching up to her. But, wherever you are, have a whiskey and 7-Up in her honor, if you wouldn't mind? My Grandma may not have been the baking sort of Grandma, but I could play pinochle and order a filet and a kickin' shirley temple by the time I was 5. She passed on some killer skills.
Sunday, Texas_Leech and I went to visit with Achmed the Terrorist and his friend Jeff Dunham. What a cool show. I literally laughed until my cheeks hurt and tears were running down my face. He was working on new material for a Christmas show/CD and seemed to be making it up as he went along amusing the crap out of himself.
Oooh! And the part that makes me bounciest of all....10 days and counting to the next bonfire! I think I'm going to attempt to make Mike's magic meat of tastiness and maybe some cheese-y-savory biscuits of my own inventing. maybe. Are you going to come join us? Do we have anything that needs celebrating? I can't wait to see you! **squeeee**
