Bukit Timah flood

Yes, NOW I am able to look back at it laugh. However at that point in time when I was wading out in thigh high water trying to get home to my babies, it didn't seem that amusing.
One conclusion my colleagues made about the flood: Continental cars fare much, much better in floods. All the BMWs, Audis and Schroeders made it out of the flood with nary a scratch or drop of water in their cars. The Japanese cars however were steeped in water as high as the flood waters went.
Of course if the car is totally submerged then that is a different story, but if the flood waters reach thigh high level and you're driving a continental car, you're good to go! Provided you don't mind climbing into the car from the window...
