Apparently I'm not sleeping, Genesis was right.
For some reason, shortly after falling asleep, some variety of dream wakes me only slightly. Not enough to awake fully, but enough to settle me into my resting state.
That resting state worked well enough when I was a General, I could pace myself, spend a great deal of time idle. But with Genesis who requires attention, and a husband who deserves attention, as well as various other persons during the day who might come to me with whatever insane superstition or worry... it simply does not work.
I don't recall the content of these dreams, but I can imagine well enough what they are about.
