I just drove 60 miles roundtrip...to a mall...to meet a recruiter...for a job...with Hot Topic/Torrid.
Why the fuck I would put myself back into retail hell is beyond me, but things are getting pretty desperate...and since I know quite a few folks who work for the company, I figured what the fuck. Hey starshape, I'm using John's connections. Aack!
Anyway, the chick I met with was probably one of the most awesome females I have yet to encounter. If I were lez, I'd probably be all over it. She rocks. We had such a comfortable meeting, plus it helped that we knew some of the same people. If she lived up here, we'd totally hang out. Anyway, the position is for management for a store that has yet to open. The problem is, the store does not open until October. I don't think I can wait that long... but we shall see. The way time is going, October isn't that far away.
I had never been to this mall before so after my interview, I did some shopping. I bought a mullet-head figure... it was on clearance. I also bought the new warrior female Spawn action figure. I know.. what the fuck am I doing spending money. Uhm... I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm an ass.
Tomorrow, Aaron and I are heading to Santa Cruz for the day. He's gonna make me wear a floppy hat. Or try to anyway...
Someone turn this fucking heat off already.. it's really getting annoying. I cannot wait until winter.
