Today, we went to this restaurant called BJ's in Vacaville. I asked for the stand for car seat since we brought Jeni and we didn't want to take her out of the car seat because she was sleepy. The host brought us one, but the strap for it was broken. So I asked her if we could get another one. She brought me another one, yet with broken straps also. I pointed out that both straps were broken, and she claimed that all ones came in just like that. Oh really? I wonder if she realizes how idiot she sounded when she said that. I mean, come on, what's the point in having straps if they weren't going to be useful? That'd be a waste of money for the company that makes those. Brandon told the host that the straps are there for a reason. A big fat DUH.
I know that the host knew we were thinking how stupid she was, so she came back and told me that she have notified the manager about those safety issues, and the manager says she/he will order the new ones in. I told Brandon that I'm going to come back next month and make sure that they do follow through with that, because if they don't, I'm going to report them. I know that people say they could just sue BJ's if anything ever happens, but why does children's suffering have to be the price or to get to that point to do something about it? Ugh, it really bother me how much concern people lack of toward humanity.
Anyhoo, after the lunch at BJ's, we went to Christmas Tree farm because Brandon was hoping to cut a Douglas Fir tree down, and bring it home. But they didn't grow any Douglas Fir trees, so we decided to just buy one from Raley's. Then we put it up in the living room, and decorated the tree. It was pretty awesome because it is going to be Jeni's first Christmas. I really can't wait till she's bit older to get more into Christmas spirit, and all.
