Yesterday and the day before, I was so exhausted that I didn't even want to get on the computer and do update.
A couple of days ago, we went to Sacramento to hang out with one of my closest friends Twyla and her daughter Jewel, my niece. We had a huge lunch at Chili's and then we went to Arden Mall to walk around, see if we'd like to buy anything from there. We were dropping Twyla off home and were gonna be on our way back home, but she asked us to stay a little bit. So we stayed little bit longer than we planned to, but I told Brandon that we needed to leave soon because Jeni is usually fussy if we don't get back home at decent hour (when I say at decent hour, I mean anytime before 7pm). And she did get fussy on the way back home, and I already used the bottle with breastmilk in it. Then I remembered that 80% of my breastmilk is made of water. So I improvised, and added water from bottle to Jeni's bottle, and tricked her into thinking it was my breastmilk at least till we got home. Next time, I'm just going to tell people straight up that we have to leave to get home because our situation is little different...we live far away from Sacramento...Jeni's fussy if she doesn't have her bath time at decent hour, and sleeps at decent hour as well. Babies are more fussy if they're not on schedule, and I prefer to keep Jeni on schedule for another reason...time management.
When you think about it, the day Jeni is going to start her preschool will be here before I know it, and I want Jeni to be on schedule long before that, so it would help to prepare her for that. It also would help me because I'm going to start school soon. That's fine if anyone else want to stay up late, but that doesn't mean we'd want to lose our sleep too. And babies/children comes first before anyone else.
Anyhoo, the night we came back from Sacramento, Jeni was so fussy, and gassy. We realized it was because I had some cheese. I completely forgot that Jeni's sensitive to dairy product (most babies are too). I haven't had any dairy product for a long time, that when we went to Chili's I loved their cheese for chips that I had some. *smacks my head* I really need to be reminded that I can't have any dairy product till at least Jeni has weaned off.
Jeni loves her exasaucer/activity center, which I'm glad because some babies like it, and others don't. So it was kind of tough to buy things and hope Jeni would like them. I was thankful for this because I got to pee by myself without worrying about Jeni crying somewhere else in living room 'cause she rather stand up than being lay down or sit.
Oh in one of pictures, you'll see that Brandon's beard has grown a lot already. He has vowed to keep it long until Jeni says her first word. Oy, we'll never hear the end of it from Jeni's Great Grandma Pea.
