i never finished GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY either...i tried to pick it up a bunch but stopped around 100p. i think--the same thing w/ the TWILIGHT sequel NEW MOON--i zipped through TWILIGHT, but don't feel the same way about book 2.
