Shawn and I got tickets to go to a 4th of July celebration on Sunday. It's at the museum, and John Kerry is going to be there. Hopefully that will be pretty cool. We've been trying to go to Fahrenheit 9/11 all week now, but it's constantly sold out. Apparently there are a lot more Bush haters in Iowa than we thought. My grandma and several of her friends went to go see it and said there was a surprising number of older people there. I think we're going to go over tonight and buy advance tickets for Saturday's showing.
I talked to our travel agent today, and we're in the process of finalizing plans for Christmas. So far, the plan is to fly out on the night of the 22nd to Las Vegas (i love allegiant air!) spend the night there and then rent a car and drive to LA on the 23rd. I think we're going to be staying until the 30th and then we'll fly back. We're going to try and get up north a couple of days to see Jason, who will be at his Dad's beach house, but we'll have to see.
