Wednesday Musings
The New Hampshire primaries were yesterday, as I'm sure you know. Kerry won again! I hoping that Dean won't pull a Bill Clinton and lose the first three primaries and go on to win everything else. I watched the Primetime interview with him the other night, and I still just can't get get on board with him.
Our cable company introduced Video on Demand this week. It's pretty cool. There's a whole section of free movies, concerts and videos you can get. There's a personal trainer section that has dozens of workout videos. This will definitely spice up my workout sessions. Today I did "Quick Fix Abs." Ten minutes of pure hell. But I made it. Granted my hair and makeup were not as perfect as the stupid woman that leads the video...who by the way I'd like to kill (at least Billy Blanks breaks a sweat!!)...but I made it through none the less. I've actually been doing really well on this whole workout kick. I've been doing cardio 3 times a week and yoga twice a week for the last 6 months. So far...I'm pretty pleased with my results. I'm more energized, and I just generally feel better. So, enough of this cheesy public service announcement.
We took Connor to the doctor AGAIN today. He's been diagnosed with RSV, a respiratory virus. It can get serious, but so far he only has mild case....here's hoping it doesn't get any worse.
Well...I'm off to put my son to bed and get stuff ready for tomorrow. Since Shawn started school and is working full time I keep telling him that I've become a single mother with a husband!! Oh well...Only 49 hours till the weekend !!
