Books and a slight musical tangent

In psych the other day we learned about perception. He mentioned a book and I may have to pick it up and see if it's at all interesting. It sounds interesting, at least, so I thought I'd mention it.

It's called, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat....ever heard of it? One of the people in it is an older man who has had his occipital lobe damaged, so his perception is damaged, and although he can be holding conversation with his wife and completely recognize her, whenever he wants to go out, or for some reason needs to get his hat, he apparently walks over and tugs at her head, thinking it's his hat.

The other cases in the book only make me want to read it more, but I'm afraid the whole thing coudl end up being too fact heavy. We'll see.

PS- LCD Soundsystem + Arcade Fire is amazing as hell live.
