Today In WWII Through European film class I watched a movie called "Hope and Glory." It was about the Blitz in London, told from the point of view of a 7 year old boy. It was actually really funny. It didn't focus on the war but on the kid's life during the war...and lemme tell ya...hilarious.
My second favorite scene was when the boy and his friends asked a girl to show them her vagina. They gave her a pretty necklace to bribe her, and then they all lined up and one by one she showed them. Interesting. Lindsay decided to call this "World War 69." Mahaha, very clever. My FAVORITE part of the movie was at the end. The kid's school was bombed by the Germans and so they got out of it. One of the little boys screams "It was a stray bomb! THANK YOU ADOLF!!!" And then the movie ends. Hahahaha..I laughed so hard when that happend...wow. History is realllyyy funny.
Also...drinking in hurricanes makes people do strange things...trust me.
