I'm such a dork
I went back and read my whole journal today. Dating back to like a year ago. We're talking pre- St.Louis trip. I have to laugh at myself. I mean seriously....I'm such a dork. Why on earth would I write some of the stuff I'd written. I'm glad we are all over the St. Louis trip by the way....apparently that was more drama than even I remember. It's funny though, reading back on my old entries. It's like reading a high school diary, only that it was just last year. I don't know if I've grown that much in just one year or if it just took me reading what I'd written to realize how dumb I sounded. Guess it's a good thing I gave this journal a rest for a bit. But now I'm back, and I plan on writing more of the same idiotic jargin that I've wrote several months ago..if you don't like it, don't read it! lol
so moving on to present day. Today I decided it would be a good idea to try out a local church. Luckily for me there is a pretty big Baptist church right across the street from my apartment with an 11:30 contemporary service. So I went hoping maybe I'd find a new church and meet some people. Well neither really happened...I mean I'll go back to the church, but today was a special 4th of July service so I don't want to make any judgements based on that. As far as making new freinds...hello, I'm shy. I don't just walk up to people and start random conversations, guess I need to work on that. On the upside, there were people that looked to be about my age there and they do have college and singles groups so that's cool. Also, the man that was sitting in front of me during the service turned around when it was over and told me I have a very pretty voice...so that was bonus.
At any rate....I'm bored. Extremely bored. So you can probably expect several random postings in the near future. Oh BTW, no update on the possible O-town buddy making a move to SC...I'll let you know when it's all straight. So now I'm off..off to do what I hve no idea...but when I figure it out and it happens I'll write you a nice little update. OH enough babbling, later kids!
