NYC and PC..Heck yea!
yeah I know I know....it's been like FOREVER since I've been on this thing. Honestly it feels like it's been forever since I've done a lot of things. Lately I haven't had much time to do anything...talk to friends, read, clean up, shop, do laundry...I can't get anything done! It's ok though cause all the stress of work this semester is about to pay off. The men's basketball team made it to the final 4 in the NIT tournament. This means we play Tuesday night at 9 at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!! That's right..I'm going to NYC! Granted I have to ride on a bus w/ the cheerleaders and pep band, but still....NYC! So I'll be in New York til 5am Friday at which time I'm flying to Panama City for my cousin Brandy's wedding. A WHOLE WEEK OUT OF COLUMBIA!!! I am so frikkin excited! I finally got to talk to my girl Julie on the phone today...I've psycho stalking her since Thursday trying to let her know I'm going to be in New York and she finally called me back. Apparently she is in England w/her new beau....how cute! So Julz is mega excited that I'm coming to the city and I'm so excited that I get to see her. She is a true DG sister of mine and I haven't seen her in almost a year...I miss her so much. So NY is going to be awesome. If we win on Tuesday we play in the finals on Thursday so I'll stay w/ the squad at the hotel. But if we loose on Tuesday the cheerleaders and band will drive back to Columbia on Wednesday, but I'll stay in NY w/ Julz until my flight at 5am on Friday. Then it's off to Panama City for 2 days of wedding fun. I'm a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding which is cool...maybe I'll meet an awesome grooms man or something. But seriously I'm so excited to see my family. I haven't seen some of them since December and others, like Tom and Kat and the girls I haven't seen in like a year! So I'm totally excited. Friday I have a bridesmaids luncheon, the rehearsal, and the rehearsal dinner. Saturday we are getting our hair done at the hotel and then we have the wedding (which by the way is a Catholic ceremony, I really hope we aren't doing a full mass...that's such a long time to stand up front). Then it's off to the recpetion...beach side! So excited. My family LOVES to have a good time so it's going to be a blast. I need to find time to get a manicure and a pedicure before then...maybe while I'm in NY. So it's all good....I'm going to have such a good time and the fact that I get to run away from here for a full week is just gravy! Then when I get back my supervisor is taking a week off which means I'll have the training room and office to myself...sweet! I really do have a lot of school work I need to do...but you know me..procrastination is my life! Ok I should go finish packing for my wonderful week away. I'll talk to you people later!
