Just a moment!
I have been really busy at work and never get long periods of time to think about what I want to write in this journal. Anyway I just wanted to post and let anyone interested that I'm alive.
Spencer has been doing a hint better on the potty stuff since we switched off the TV, GameBoy and computer. He misses being able to do those things but it is interesting to see him finally playing with some of his other toys and educational materials. I'm pleased that he watches no more than 1 hour of TV a day ever, that is all he can earn now. In order to get that hour he can't have any GameBoy or computer time so he really has to pick what activity he wants to use his "reward" time for. We also just put in place his long term goal and it really seems to have motivated him to keep himself clean. He has a sitcker chart and has to get 30 stickers for being clean all day so we can plan a family trip to King's Island. Most of you have no idea what that is... it is an amusement park about an hours drive away. Spencer has begged to go many times but he really wasn't mature enough to handle the experience not to mention too small to ride most rides until this summer. We have told him over the years that he is just too young to go there so using it as a reward for this has worked out perfect. I have the money put aside so I told him we would go as soon as the chart got full, he has stayed clean the entire 2 days since then.
Otherwise lots of yard work, house work, work in general and trying to eat right, exercise and lose some weight for me. Same old same old boring shit!
